Aave community launches ARFC proposal for the launch of native stablecoin GHO on the mainnet
Aave proposes to launch the GHO stablecoin on the mainnet using their ARFC proposal.
The Aave community has initiated an ARFC proposal for the launch of the native stablecoin GHO on the mainnet. The proposal suggests using Aave V3 Ethereum Facilitator and FlashMinter Facilitator to introduce GHO to the Ethereum mainnet. If this ARFC and the subsequent AIP proposal are approved by Aave DAO, GHO will be launched on the Ethereum mainnet, and users of Aave V3 on Ethereum will be able to use their collateral to mint GHO, ushering in a new era for the Aave ecosystem and Aave DAO. If approved, the DAO treasury will receive 100% of the interest from GHO lending as additional income. Additionally, after the launch of GHO, a multi-chain strategy will be proposed to the community.
